The U.S. National Motto Coin and Currency Collection
The U.S. National Motto Coin and Currency Collection
The U.S. National Motto Coin and Currency Collection
The first U.S. coins and currency to bear the phrase “In God We Trust”…
- The first designs for every circulating coin and currency denomination — from the humble penny to the five-dollar bill — with dates ranging from 1864 to 1963.
- Featuring the highly unusual 2-Cent piece, the Seated Liberty Half- and Quarter-Dollars and Shield Nickel, all minted in the 1800's, and the Lincoln Cent and Mercury Dime.
- The bills include the 1957 $1 Silver Certificate, plus the $2 and $5 United States Notes from 1963, the last series with a unique red Treasury seal.
- The paper currency will be featured in crisp, uncirculated condition; the coins will be in circulated condition. Each item is protectively encapsulated to provide worry-free viewing of both front and back.
- FREE: To provide safe storage and preserve the coins and notes for generations to come, a custom-crafted wooden Display Chest will be sent free of charge with the second shipment.
- BONUS: A mint-condition stamp depicting Washington at prayer in Valley Forge — the first to feature “In God We Trust” — that was issued nearly 100 years ago.
- A Collector’s Guide, which provides intriguing information about the history of the “In God We Trust” motto and the coins and currency in this collection, is also included free of charge.
