• The 2022 National Purple Heart Hall of Honor silver dollar, struck in 99.9% pure silver, and half-dollar, presented in pristine, uncirculated condition.
• Struck for one year only in extremely limited quantities, solely for collectors, these coins paid tribute to those who have been awarded the Purple Heart medal.
• Each is enclosed in a hard plastic case similar to those used by grading companies with a patriotic label specifying the year, design, denomination and finish.
• The silver dollar bears the exclusive “W” mint mark from West Point; the front features a depiction of the medal and five stars to represent each branch of the military, while the back depicts a medic tending to a wounded soldier.
• Minted in Denver, the half-dollar features a rendering of the medal along with a wounded veteran using a pair of crutches on the front; the back features a young boy holding the dress cap of a fallen Marine, together with the inscription, “Some Gave All.”
• The coins will be housed in a wooden Display Chest.
• Includes a Collector’s Guide that provides narrative about the coins and their designs, complete with an encapsulated mint-condition Purple Heart Medal stamp affixed to the cover.
