Every decade of the original design of the world’s most popular silver bullion coin…

• Each coin was struck by the United States in 99.9% pure silver, contains one troy ounce of silver and is specially selected for its high-precision proof finish.
• Minted since 1986, America’s first silver bullion coin features Walking Liberty, designed by Adolph A. Weinman and used on silver half-dollars (1916-1947).
• The “Silver Eagle” was named for the original back design by John Mercanti, the United States’s 12th chief engraver, which was last made in 2021.
• Unlike high-speed presses for everyday coins, proof presses are unhurried and strike two or more times for razor-sharp, raised detail.
• The protective capsule allows each coin to be safely examined on both sides without fear of harm from dust, dirt and fingerprints.
• FREE: A deluxe wooden Display Chest, which features a plush lining, silver-toned hardware and a lock and key for added security, will be sent free of charge with the third shipment.
